Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account information: Your email address, used to authenticate you and send product updates.

Booking emails: The content of booking confirmation emails you forward to your Occuply inbound address. We parse these to extract booking details (guest name, check-in/out dates, payout amount, property name).

Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the dashboard (pages visited, features used). We use this to improve the product.

Payment information: Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer ID — we never see or store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Occuply dashboard
• To parse booking emails and populate your analytics
• To send transactional emails (magic link login, billing receipts)
• To improve the Service based on usage patterns
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data. We do not use your booking data for advertising.

3. AI Processing

Booking email content is processed by a large language model (Claude by Anthropic) to extract structured booking data. Email content sent for parsing is not used to train AI models. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on their data handling.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure in the US-East region. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

5. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following service providers, as necessary to operate the Service:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Anthropic — AI parsing of booking emails
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• Cloudflare — DNS and email routing

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you cancel and delete your account, your data (bookings, expenses, profile) is deleted within 30 days. Stripe retains billing records per their own retention policies.

7. Your Rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@occuplyonline.com.

8. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will notify you by email of material changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when changes were made.
